Migration
Moving from eBay, Magento or Volusion to Shopify
A move only pays off if your products, customers and Google rankings come with you. This is the order we work in:
Back up and list your URLs
We export your products, customers and orders, and list every product, category and page address that gets traffic today.
Import your catalog
Products, variations, images and customers go into Shopify. From eBay we bring item specifics and fitment along too.
Build the theme off-line
We build and test your new theme as an unpublished theme, so your current store keeps selling until launch day.
Map 301 redirects
Every old address gets a 301 redirect to its new Shopify page, so links and rankings carry over.
Test and launch
We test checkout, shipping, taxes and emails, publish the theme, connect your domain and submit the new sitemap to Google.

How our projects workWhat do your Shopify store design services include?
A custom or customized Online Store 2.0 theme, your home, collection, product and content pages, custom sections, any apps or integrations you need, migration from your old platform with 301 redirects, SEO setup and training for your team.
How much does a custom Shopify store cost?
It depends on how many custom page designs, sections and features you need, and on the size of any migration. After a free consultation we send a fixed quote, so the price doesn’t change once work starts. Your Shopify plan is billed by Shopify separately.
How long does a custom Shopify store take?
About six weeks from start to finish, depending on how quickly revisions, content and the questionnaire come back.
Should I get a custom theme or customize a premium theme?
A customized premium theme suits a growing store on a budget. A custom theme is worth it when your products need layouts or features no theme offers, such as a part finder, or when you want a design nobody else has.
Who owns the theme?
You do. Once the project is paid, the custom theme and its code are yours. If we customize a premium theme, its developer’s license still applies to the original theme.
Will I be able to edit the theme?
Yes. Every section is editable in Shopify’s theme editor, and we train your team after launch.
Are custom pages included?
Yes. Home, collection, product, about, contact and policy pages are designed and built, plus any landing pages agreed in your quote.
What do you need from me?
Access to your Shopify store (we can set up a development store first), your logo and brand assets, and your answers to our questionnaire.
What happens after launch?
You get a 14-day free revision window after installation for text, link and small layout fixes. After that you can still call us for changes and new features.
Do you charge monthly?
No. Our work is a one-time fixed price. Shopify’s plan and any paid apps are billed by them.
Do you work on Shopify Plus?
Yes. We design and build for Plus stores too. Shopify lists Plus from $2,300 a month on a three-year term, or $2,500 a month on a one-year term, as of October 2026.
Can you move my eBay listings to Shopify?
Yes, with item specifics, variations, images and fitment, and with stock kept in sync afterwards. We’ve done it for a catalog of more than 70,000 listings.
Will I lose my Google rankings if I move to Shopify?
Not if the move is done carefully. We keep your product content, 301 redirect every old address to its new page and submit the new sitemap. Shopify allows up to 100,000 redirects per store, which covers most catalogs.
Can you migrate from Magento, Volusion or WooCommerce?
Yes. We move products, customers, orders and redirects from Magento, Volusion, WooCommerce and eBay, and test everything before launch.
Do you outsource?
No. Design and development are done by our in-house team in New Jersey.
